News

Good News from the State of Ohio as Governor DeWine has initiated a plan to get Ohioans back to work beginning May 1, 2020. He announced an easing of restrictions in phases including the stay-at-home restriction, opening of manufacturing and industrial facilities, personal care facilities, elective medical procedures and restaurants gradually over the next several weeks.

Gorman-Rupp will continue to be vigilant in protecting the health and wellbeing of its employees even though certain restrictions are being lifted. As an essential business, we have continued to operate during this pandemic with extreme caution and we will continue to keep a number of safety measures in place.

• Staff members will continue to work from home. When essential, staff members will return in phases while maintaining operations.
• Monitoring the health status of all employees prior to entering the facility will continue
• No visitors unless essential to our operation and must be prearranged
• Social distancing of 6 feet is adhered to
• Minimizing in-person meetings with online meetings
• Sanitation stations throughout the facility
• Travel ban in place except for essential service related trips
• Masks and gloves (PPE) required under various situations

As you know, Gorman-Rupp has continued to provide pumps and parts throughout this crisis while maintaining full production. We would like to thank our dedicated distribution partners for their cooperation in supporting our collective customers. Due to the number of restrictions still in place across the country, Gorman-Rupp will continue to waive the drop ship fee for orders placed through Friday, May 15, 2020. Orders placed on May 16th and beyond will be subject to normal terms and conditions unless otherwise noted.

Thank you for your continued support and trust in us, and we hope that you and your families remain healthy and safe.
